Hi classmates! Today I am going to write about Luis Alberto Spinetta, one
of my favourites musicians of all world. Luis Alberto was an argentine musician,
very famous at 70’s and 80’s years. Nicknamed “El Flaco”, born the 23 January 1950
in Buenos Aires. The musical genres of mentioned author was the rock, jazz
rock, progressive rock, art rock, psychedelic rock and pop. This artist is
regarded as one of the fathers of the argentine rock. That magnitude was you influence
those others artists such as Gustavo Cerati and Charly García remembering “Flaco”
as the principal driving force of the rock genres in the Argentina.
I remember that discovered to the Spinetta around in 2008-2009, when
were the two concerts of the band Soda Stereo in Santiago, had twelve years
old. Was because I investigated about to the life of Cerati and found information
about to Spinetta, and the influence that marked in the beginning the music
career of Cerati. Therefore, I started to listen the sings of Luis Alberto,
such as “Muchacha ojos de papel”, “Las
habladurias del mundo”, “Bajan”, “Todas las hojas son del viento” and many
others.
The musical life of Luis varied between work with bands and work as
soloist. His principal’s bands were “Pescado Rabioso”, “Almendra”, and “Spinetta
Jade”. “El Flaco” was the singer of all his bands. One of my favourites bands
of the Spinetta was Pescado Rabioso, punctually the Artaud Album, this album is
amazing, an of his principals song is “Bajan”, “Todas las hojas son del viento”,
nevertheless, my favourite song of this album is “Supercheria”.
I like this artist for the passion that transmit across of his songs,
his letters… I do a special sense to the energy transmitted through his words.
